alright car experts, help me out here

About 2 months ago I had replaced a battery thinking that was the problem and everything had been working fine since then, however, this week, my car has been strugglin' to crank although once it does, everything is fine and dandy. I came home tonight after driving for about an hour. I wanted to see if my car would recrank any easier since I had been driving a good distance. Anyway, I go to crank it up and it wont even turn over. I have my suspicions that the alternator is not keeping the battery charged properly but Im not sure, I wanted to see what you guys think? At first I was thinking maybe theres something in my car that isnt turning off thats draining the battery but I checked that out and nothing. What do you guys think?

You do live in a rough neighborhood, so Id be careful not to sto in that curve as you come up the hill, heard they was a bad man living there. lmao, youre a really big help, ya know that [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif[/img] Im sure ill end up at the garage too. Ive got to be in JC for the praxis on tuesday. Hopefully I can get it fixed by then. I doubt it though.

When my honda did that, I had to get a bigger alternator because of the three amps in the back. My battery was fine it was just that my alternator could not keep up. I don't know exactly how you have your system wired, you may have other batteries to push your amps but I always had mine coming right off my main battery and when I changed my alternator everything ran perfect.

Yep everything is running off of the main battery. Im not showing any signs of light dimming or anything but Im thinking ive possibly weakend the alternator causing the diods in there to not properly recharge the battery. Once I get going everything is great.

Where did you get a Higher Output Alternator? I was hoping Qaulity could drop it in for me. Colb' always treats me pretty good there.
